CloudCoin Weekly Bulletin 123

CloudCoin Consortium statement on COVID-19

The CloudCoin Consortium, like the rest of the world, is taking the spread of COVID-19 seriously and we have been closely monitoring developments. CloudCoin is taking prudent measures to safeguard the health and safety of our members, stakeholders and their families.

We are discouraging Consortium related travel and appearances during the coming weeks. The Consortium is fortunate to be a decentralized and globally-dispersed organization where most activities are conducted virtually/online.

Consortium efforts will therefore continue with only minor interruption. We remain committed to making CloudCoin the world's best, most versatile and most private digital currency.

No one can yet anticipate the sum effects the spread of this virus will have on the global economic climate. Uncertainty has already impacted equity and currency markets, including digital currencies. We know from history that any temporary decline in demand will ultimately rebound after COVID-19 is contained.
For the benefit of our readers, here is information from the World Health Organization on safety precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 and a list of travel precautions from the Center for Disease Control .

The Consortium extends its best wishes for full recovery to all those affected by this outbreak and looks forward to a swift end to the current situation.

CloudCoin trading outperforms during uncertainty

Trading of the CLOUDCOIN token on the BitShares decentralized exchange (DEX) has outshined other currencies during the past month, while assets like bitcoin and Ethereum have seen larger losses.
CLOUDCOIN's trading price decline over the past month is much less than bitcoin (BTC, down 49%) or Ethereum (ETH, down 52%), as seen on chart below.
The CLOUDCOIN token is tied to the value of the DEX's native Bitshares token (BTS), which itself has lost 57% of its value.

Ask CloudCoin anything

A CloudCoin Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, hosted by CoinKeeper , is scheduled for Friday, March 20.
CoinKeeper is promoting the AMA to its 65,000+ digital currency enthusiasts and displaying banner ads promoting CloudCoin sites and social media pages.
AMA sessions allow people to literally ask "anything" about the CloudCoin project and receive answers from Consortium members.
We will update CloudCoin Weekly Bulletin readers when we know the exact time for the session. CloudCoin fans can take part through Telegram.

Consortium elections set for March 27

The elections of three advisory board members have been scheduled for March 27-28.
The open positions are for one advisor within each of the following areas: technical, marketing and liquidity/business.
To register to vote, send an email with the following information: Name, Skywallet ID, and Protonmail address. Voters not on the Consortium payroll must submit membership dues of 250 CloudCoins.
Voters will receive official voting tokens with randomized serial numbers, which they will use to cast votes using the SkyWallet BillPay function. Full instructions about the process will be received after registration.
Any member may declare their candidacy for any of the positions and must do so prior to March 26 using Consortium Skype channels.

Do you have what it takes to be a RAIDA Guardian?

RAIDA Guardians operate proxy servers to make RAIDA more reliable and robust, and they can receive 100,000 CloudCoins for participating.
Guardians are a vital part of CloudCoin's global effort to create a perfect monetary system that will increase the freedom and prosperity of everyone, while helping combat authoritarian governments who rely on currency manipulation for their existence.
If you are interested in becoming a Guardian, please sign up here for more information and an invitation to a members-only Telegram group.

Earn CloudCoins & $$$ as a RAIDA Detection Agent

There are still slots remaining for people interested in becoming founding RAIDA Detection Agents .
Operators of these units help make the RAIDA network stronger, faster, and more secure. Operators earn a portion of network traffic revenues, as well as a bonus paid in CloudCoins. Be advised, however, there are a limited number of special "Founders" opportunities available.
There is also a referral program where you can become a Detection Agent, with zero licensing fees, simply by referring potential operators.
Email for more information about becoming a Detection Agent operator or joining the referral program.
