Bulletin #78
New software should launch in May
Consortium programmers are still busy at work on the new 'advanced client' software. The graphical user interface (GUI) is officially completed and tested; final release is still targeted before the end of this month.

The latest version incorporates several features and new functionality which have led to delays in release.

"Satashi Nakamoto spent two years developing his code before he released bitcoin into production. I released CloudCoin after just one month of creating the Founders software," CloudCoin founder Sean Worthington said, "We are now two years into development. We have all been working for CloudCoin to be successful. Mark my word, you will be rich for that!"

Features include:

  • Enhanced UI/UX  with similar look and user-experience across platforms (Windows, Android, Mac, etc.).
  • Optimized efficiency that reduces measured CPU usage to 0%
  • A vault to eliminate any possibility of theft
  • Ability to automatically recover coins by email
  • Allowing users to send CloudCoins to each other quickly and safely through Trusted Transfer accounts
  • Support for collectibles, a decentralized exchange and ATM functionality
  • Support for merchant services and game portals
  • Multi-fix functionality that can fix hundreds of fracked coins within seconds
  • Multi-language support/localization

Membership report
Consortium members are staying very busy, according to Lorne Green, CloudCoin Consortium Membership Director.

"Consortium members are working extremely hard and we have made great strides in transparency and accountability since implementing peer group discussion panels.
The panels are centered on particular functional areas and conducted at the end of each month. They allow members to reflect and discuss with peers about their individual contributions, successes and challenges in order to advise and learn.
This has been especially helpful in getting new members on-boarded and acclimated much quicker.  We achieved 100% participation this month.
We are creating new application forms for non-voting membership. We've also formed a task force of key members to finalize setting up the Consortium as an entity (association, NGO, foundation or similar) in the best possible jurisdiction.
I look forward to seeing the Consortium membership grow and helping Consortium members reach new heights!"

CloudCoin favorites for Kentucky Derby
Tomorrow is the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs.

Consortium members have some favorites:

Code of Honor (odds 12 to 1) is being cheered on by our software developers and other coders. By My Standards (15 to 1) also appeals to our tech folks known for adhering to coding standards.

Maximum Security (8 to 1) embodies one of the biggest advantages CloudCoin enjoys over other digital currencies-- safety and privacy.

The smart money is on Game Winner (9 to 2, the morning line favorite after Omaha Beach scratched), who not only sums up what CloudCoin is all about, but reminds us that CloudCoin is the only truly crossover currency that can work both in and out of virtual environments like video games.

Kentucky native and CloudCoin Membership Director Lorne Green says to keep an eye on Rebel Stakes winner Long Range Toddy (30 to 1) for long-shot opportunity.
