Accelerator event recap
CloudCoin lead scientist Sean Worthington and long-time CloudCoin backer and original Shark Tank star Kevin Harrington presented solutions for growing businesses during a business accelerator conference March 22-23 in Tampa, Florida.
Worthington shared ways that RAIDA-based solutions backed by CloudCoin can benefit enterprises of all sizes to help them prevent counterfeiting, become more efficient, generate investment and safeguard their data.
Consortium adopts new teamwork tools
CloudCoin Consortium members now participate in new peer review panels based on their functional area, for example software developers/programmers are one panel and communications/marketing is another.

The goals are to promote greater teamwork, accountability and transparency and with members of each group reporting to each other about activities and projects they've personally undertaken to advance the CloudCoin mission.

Peer review and a collective framework are important since the Consortium, as a private association, doesn't have a very hierarchical structure.

CloudCoin Weekly Bulletin 72

DNS-like naming system to simplify CloudCoin transfers
CloudCoin users will soon be able to transfer coins using simple names similar to websites and working with existing DNS systems.

The system will let users send coins to easy to remember and use addresses, like (for example) editor@weekly.bulletin, which would be translated to a DNS name like editor.weekly.bulletin and then to an IP address like 1.234.5.678.

Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, in contrast, use complicated addresses like1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX and users need a private key which can be lost or forgotten, meaning coins are permanently lost. CloudCoins can never be permanently lost.

These transfers will work with the Trusted Transfer system using the upcoming Advance Client software (see below).
This week's events
Consortium European marketing guru Adrian Niculescu gave an on-stage pitch about CloudCoin during the Wolves Summit , in Warsaw, Poland to promote brand awareness and attract new coin users. Niculescu also appeared in a panel discussion to share CloudCoin's unique post-blockchain technologyand its many benefits. He also took the opportunity to network with the 2500+ attendees.
CloudCoin lead scientist Sean Worthington and long-time CloudCoin backer and original Shark Tank star Kevin Harrington are presenting solutions for growing businesses during a business accelerator conference today in Tampa, Florida.

Worthington is discussing ways that RAIDA-based solutions backed by CloudCoin can benefit enterprises of all sizes to help them prevent counterfeiting, become more efficient, generate investment and safeguard their data.
