Advanced Client v2 'optimized to the max'
The Advanced Client software team has completed Version 2, which fully optimizes efficiency and reduces measured CPU usage to 0%.

Version 3 will integrate a redesigned GUI and be downloadable for consumer use.

"Version 2 has 0% CPU usage, its optimized to the max," Ben Ward , lead developer for the project, said, "I've been working closely with testers, ensuring stability for programs and modules to come. The Advanced Client is configurable because it can swap out different parts of the program."

Client software allows for easy storage and transfer of CloudCoins. The latest version has many long-awaited new features and offers a similar cross-platform user experience.
Nasdaq CEO: Digital currency can be 'global currency of future'
Adena Friedman , the CEO of Nasdaq, said this week that digital currencies have great potential and that Nasdaq is working to gain the trust of investors interested in digital currency.

She said she hopes the "genius and creativity” of digital currency technologies can find greater practical utility.
Hackers steal millions and access private KYC data
A hacker accused of stealing $11.5 million was arrested in the UK this week on charges of fraud, theft and money laundering. He stole IOTA user passwords and drained their accounts.
Another hacker, known as "ExploitDOT" has posted online proof of accessing know-your-customer (KYC) data from cryptocurrency exchanges and selling that data. The hacker was able to obtain copies of driver's licenses and other identity documents.

CloudCoin is a currency that cannot be hacked and can be traded easily via private transactions. CloudCoin is the world's most private and most secure digital currency. An un-hackable RAIDA-based exchange is also in development.
Smartphones and futures trading may greatly expand exposure to digital currencies
Two developments this week could have a huge impact on the future growth of the digital currency market.

Samsung's next flagship phone, the Galaxy S10, will feature a digital currency wallet according to leaked images , confirming earlier rumors. Samsung is the world's leader in smartphone production shipping more than one billion per year. Native digital currency applications in Samsung phones would undoubtedly introduce tens of millions of new users.
Bakkt, the digital futures trading platform with the same parent company as the New York Stock Exchange, was scheduled to launch this week. Bakkt announced further details about the platform which will be the first to offer fully regulatory compliant digital currency futures trading.

Futures trading of any commodity is an important component to price discovery and limiting volatility. Regulatory compliance for digital currency futures trading will raise the comfort level of institutional and even mainstream retail-level investor, bringing more credibility and assets to the marketplace.
