Next generation of CloudCoin client software nears launch

A totally new and different kind of software for powing, storing and transferring CloudCoins is nearly ready for launch.

The latest client software has a new architecture and is platformed in Java allowing it to easily be configured for multiple operating systems and to feature very similar functionality and user experiences across those systems.

Developers plan further testing and improvements to the user interface design before officially releasing the application later this month.
Become a RAIDA Detection Agent
You can now be a part of the RAIDA network--and earn money in the process.

There will be 800 new RAIDA Detection Agents operating nodes to make the RAIDA network stronger, more robust and more secure.

More than 100 Agents have already signed up or are in the process of signing up.

The nodes are network servers in a fully-programmed and self-contained "black box" that the operators will install in the their homes or businesses. All the operators need to do is keep the boxes plugged in to power and internet. Support technicians will be able to help configure their router if necessary.
A portion of all fees and royalties gained for using the RAIDA network will go into a pool and be split quarterly among Detection Agents for as long as they have the servers.

"This is going to be a disruptive technology. We have to create a data system that no one will try to take it down," Sean Worthington said, adding that with over 800 locations it would be totally impossible for hackers to compromise the system.

The first nodes will ship before end of the year and are available in three grades (Platinum, Gold, Silver) corresponding to the length of time the operator will maintain the node. For more information about becoming a RAIDA Detection Agent, email Bob Cefail with the subject line: Detection Agent.

You can still get a free pass to RAIDAtech sponsored event

RAIDAtech , the private venture developing new applications for Sean Worthington 's provisionally-patented RAIDA technology, is a major sponsor of the Anti-Counterfeit & Currency Expo (ACCE) in Las Vegas Nov. 6-8.

Anyone interested in attending can get a complimentary attendee badge usingthis link . Even if you don't attend, you can register using RAIDAtech's link--the sponsor with the most registrations will receive a bonus branding opportunity!

RAIDAtech is a separate entity from the CloudCoin Consortium, although some people are involved with both. The Consortium expects RAIDAtech's success will boost the utility (and therefore value) of CloudCoin, as most applications will use CloudCoins in some way.

Here's a look at the RAIDAtech advertisement that will appear in the official program book for ACCE.
