CloudCoin Bulletin #44

New company RAIDA Tech created to develop RAIDA apps
RAIDA Tech is here! The long-awaited venture to develop new applications forSean Worthington's provisionally-patented RAIDA technology has begun working on exciting new projects.

Here's a video from Digital Currency Growth about the new venture and how may have a long term impact on the price of CloudCoin (RAIDA Tech discussion starts about 30 seconds in).

RAIDA Tech has already announced plans to embed counterfeit-detection tools in physical goods such as shoes or clothing that should be displayed at theAnti-Counterfeit & Currency Expo (ACCE) in Las Vegas Nov. 6-8.
CLOUDCOIN tokens doing surprisingly well in BitShares trading
CLOUDCOIN tokens continue to trade actively on the BitShares decentralized exchange (DEX), despite there not yet being a way to revert tokens to actual CloudCoins.

CLOUDCOIN tokens are created by exchanging actual CloudCoins for a tokenized version that can trade in the BitShares ecosystem. The reverse process--exchanging tokens for CloudCoins--is still being developed by Consortium programmers and should be ready soon.

That means many buyers have been willing to acquire CLOUDCOIN tokens even though they are not yet liquid. Observers expect the trading price to go significantly higher once CLOUDCOIN tokens can be reverted to CloudCoins.
CloudCoin owners wanting to exchange their CloudCoins for the CLOUDCOIN tokens will need to create BitShares accounts then upload the CloudCoins they wish to exchange to the automated depository. See the chart below for the process.
Founders Edition 2.0 client software launched
Founders's Edition 2 for Win7, Win8.1 and Win10 was launched Sept. 1. The code for Mac and Linux versions are complete and will follow soon.

Founders 2.0 is the Consortium's first client software to be professionally tested by the team led by QA chief Ivan Olsak .

2.0 is a console program that includes multi-detect functionality, making it 200 times faster than previous Founders editions. A Quick-Start Guide for Founders 2.0 is here .

CloudCoin client software is used to authenticate, password-own ('pown'), store and transfer CloudCoins. Three more versions are in various stages of development. All Consortium downloads are available here .

Consumer Edition 1.5 should be the next release. It will improve and provide fixes to CE 1.0 and is a bridge to Consumer Edition 2.0.

Development is simultaneously underway on CE 2.0, which will be a completely new, more user-friendly client package that will have the same user experience in both Windows and Mac OS X versions, according to lead developer Navraj Singh .

A totally new CloudCoin application for Android, which will include multi-detect functionality (and significantly improve speed), should be released around the same time as CE 1.5.
Celebrium prepped for roll-out this quarter
Celebrium, a line of digital celebrity collectibles powered by RAIDA, should be fully launched in the early autumn, according to creator Bob Cefail.

He said testing has been completed on their website and RAIDA interface so that it will "accurately and securely deliver the Celebrium collectibles in real-time."

They've also completed development on a web app for collectors and are working on a desktop app. They're curating a selection of signed celebrity images along with videos to document their creation, and hope to have photos ready for RAIDA minting by the end of this month.
