Bill Pay comes to CloudCoin
Consortium developers will be adding a "Bill Pay" feature to CloudCoin Wallet that will allow automatic CloudCoin payments from data in a spreadsheet file. The user would select Tools, then select Bill Pay and choose from which list to pay and from which wallet. This feature should be available in September.

Five weeks left for RAIDAtech funding round
There are just 38 days remaining to participate in the second funding round for RAIDAtech , the private company that develops new applications for RAIDA technology.

The crowdfunding offering page has information about the company, applications and its potential, including the $1 trillion-plus market for RAIDAtech applications.

The offering page also features a video invitation from Shark Tank's Kevin Harrington extolling the value of investing in RAIDAtech.

RAIDAtech is now valued at $11 million and any investor anywhere can take part in this funding round with a minimum investment of $200. The earlier round was limited to only a small number of investors. This second funding round is managed by crowdfunding platform truCrowd.

RAIDAtech was founded last year by Sean Worthington and is a separate entity from the CloudCoin Consortium, although RAIDAtech's success will also benefit CloudCoin by expanding utility and value of the RAIDA network's native currency.
European Events
CloudCoin's European ambassador Adrian Niculescu will be very busy in the coming months, with speaking appearances scheduled at several events and conferences, including LATOKEN in London Sept. 2, Unleashing Innovation in Fintech in Amsterdam Oct. 17-18, and the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit Nov. 7-8.
Earn CloudCoins & $$$ as a RAIDA Detection Agent
There are still slots remaining for people interested in becoming founding RAIDA Detection Agents.

Operators of these units help make the RAIDA network stronger, faster, and more secure. Operators earn a portion of network traffic revenues, as well as
a bonus paid in Cloudcoins. Be advised, however, there are a limited number of special "Founders" opportunities available.

There is also a referral program where you can become a Detection Agent, with zero licensing fees, simply by referring potential operators.

Email for more information about becoming a Detection Agent operator or joining the referral program.
Today is Black Ribbon Day
Throughout much of the world, August 23 is observed each year as Black Ribbon Day or European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Stalinism and Nazism in the EU.

The date marks the 80th anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, a
mutual non-aggression agreement between Hitler’s Nazis and Stalin’s Communists. Within a year of signing the Pact, the partners had invaded or annexed most of the formerly sovereign nations between their respective spheres, including Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Romania, while a secure Eastern border allowed Hitler to expand west into the Low Countries and France.
Black Ribbon Day commemorates both victims of Stalinism and Nazism and, more generally, all those who died, suffered, or perished under authoritarian regimes. By some estimates, 20th century totalitarianism cost as many as 100 million noncombatant lives.

This day of remembrance allows us to reflect on the lessons of history and come together in the face of hate, intolerance, and oppression. The CloudCoin Consortium stands against totalitarianism and promotes a currency that cannot be controlled by any regime.

CloudCoin's decentralization, privacy, security, and anonymity helps ensure the kinds of economic freedoms that can stand as a bulwark against command economies and monetary controls.
