CloudCoin Weekly Bulletin 84

History made as first lost digital coin is recovered
June 10 was a monumental day as CloudCoin scientists pioneered recovery of lost digital currency.

"This is the first time in human history that a digital currency has been lost and then found," Sean Worthington , CloudCoin's inventor, said, "Over the next few weeks will be able to recover thousands of lost coins and return them to their owners."

Permanent loss had previously been one of the biggest obstacles to creating a working digital currency. One of the best known currencies, bitcoin, has permanently and irrecoverably lost nearly a quarter of its coin supply--more if the count includes the million or so bitcoins in a wallet belonging to the mysterious "Satoshi Nakamoto" that has been inactive for a decade.

CloudCoins can be recovered because users do not have accounts--each coin has its own account. Lost CloudCoins have required user to make reports and have taken 24 months to reclaim, but new software out soon from the CloudCoin Consortium will give CloudCoin owners the option to recover lost coins instantly.
Rejoice with me;
for I have found the coin
which I had lost.
-Luke, 15:9

Software beta testing will follow RAIDA system checks
Developers continue to make improvements to the Alpha version the 'advanced client' software to incorporate improvements, fixes and expanded functionality with version A16 being released yesterday.

Testing has been temporarily paused to do a system-wide verification re-check that each RAIDA Sentinel node is correctly processing all of the new services and protocols.

Nearly 30 Consortium members are actively involved internally in testing, with plans to bring in external beta testers (thanks to all the readers who volunteered!) in the coming days.

Artistic refinements are also still in the works on colors, fonts and proportions of the user interface. How-to-videos and guidebooks for the new software are under development.
Other features and new functionality

  • Enhanced UI/UX with similar look and user-experience across platforms (Windows, Android, Mac, etc.).
  • Optimized efficiency that reduces measured CPU usage to 0%
  • A vault to eliminate any possibility of theft
  • Ability to automatically recover coins by email
  • Allowing users to send CloudCoins to each other quickly and safely through Trusted Transfer
  • Easily make change/split notes
  • Support for collectibles, a decentralized exchange and ATM functionality
  • Support for merchant services and game portals
  • Multi-fix functionality that can fix thousands of fracked coins within seconds
  • Multi-language support/localization
Referral Program

A referral program will be part of the launch of the final software version. Plans include incentives for referring friends, for downloading the software and for correctly answering quiz questions about its functions and features. Tens of thousands of CloudCoins will potentially be given away, so stay tuned for more information about how you can join in to spread the word.

Naming Contest

The working title for the software has been "advanced client," but it still doesn't have an official name. Past versions have included Founders Edition & Consumers Edition.

Earn CloudCoins and $$$ by being a RAIDA Detection Agents
There are only a few slots remaining for people interested in operating RAIDA Detection Agent units.

These units help make the RAIDA network stronger, faster and more secure. Operators earn a portion of network traffic revenues, plus the next 10 to signup receive a special "Founders" bonus paid in CloudCoins.

There is also a referral program where you can become a Detection Agent with zero licensing fee simply by referring potential operators.

Email for more information about becoming a Detection Agent operator or joining the referral program.
A Magna Carta for the 21st Century
Tomorrow, June 15, is the 804th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta Liberartum (Great Charter of Liberties) in England in 1215. The Magna Cartaplaced 63 specific limitations on the powers of the monarchy and marks one of the first written documents protecting freedoms from arbitrary government power.
A much more recent document could prove to be just as important--theCloudCoin whitepape r from Feb. 2017. It outlines the RAIDA system that makes CloudCoin possible and processes that make it unique and superior to cryptocurrencies.

Like the Magna Carta, CloudCoin and RAIDA will free people from governmental restraint on their economic freedoms and eliminate the need for state-run monetary systems and central banks.
RAIDA solves the problems of blockchain and allows for currencies like CloudCoin that are faster, greener, quantum-safe and trillions of times more secure. RAIDA technology can also be applied to a wide range of next-generation, applications for the post-blockchain world.
